Taking screenshots under Windows

I recently needed to take screenshots in Windows so I thought I give you an introduction to taking screenshots under Windows. It is really easy so I’m gonna keep it short:

If you want to take a screenshot of the desktop you have to press “Print Screen” on your keyboard. You still don’t have a screenshot since all what Windows does is copy it to the clipboard. Open up Paint and press “Crtl V”. This will paste the screenshot into Paint. Here you have your screenshot.

If you want to take a screenshot of a single window you have to press “Alt Gr Print Screen” and then do the same mentioned above.
